Rayal Architects was founded by Aishwarya Bodineni on a conviction that has guided every project since: great architecture must honour both the people who inhabit it and the land it stands on.
The name Rayal is drawn from the Vijayanagara empire — master builders of South India who understood that enduring architecture grows from its landscape and culture, not despite it.
From our studios in Bangalore and Kadapa, we work across residential, commercial, hospitality, and sustainable design — always seeking the particular solution that belongs to this client, this site, this climate.

Material Honesty
We choose materials for how they age, not just how they photograph. Kadapa stone, rammed earth, reclaimed timber — each one earns its place.

Rooted Locally
Based in Bangalore and Kadapa, we draw from South Indian vernacular traditions and source materials within 100 km whenever possible.

Aishwarya Bodineni
Principal Architect & Founder
With over 15 years of practice spanning Bangalore and Kadapa, Aishwarya founded Rayal Architects on the belief that architecture must serve both people and place. Her work draws from the courtyard traditions of Rayalaseema and the material honesty of South Indian vernacular, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
Vikram Reddy
Senior Design Architect
A CEPT graduate with 10 years of experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects. Vikram leads the design development process, translating initial concepts into buildable, detail-rich architecture.
Priya Sharma
Sustainability Lead
IGBC-accredited professional who ensures every Rayal project meets rigorous environmental performance targets. Priya has guided five projects to green certification and pioneered the studio's net-zero design methodology.
Arjun Nair
Interior Design Director
Arjun brings a refined eye for material and proportion to the studio's interior projects. His approach prioritises spatial clarity and tactile richness over decorative excess.
Process
How We Work
Four stages, one commitment: that the built outcome is true to the vision.
Listen
Every project begins with deep listening—to the client, the site, the climate, and the community. We conduct site walks, contextual studies, and extended conversations before putting pen to paper.
Envision
We translate listening into spatial ideas through sketches, physical models, and 3D studies. Multiple concepts are explored before converging on the strongest direction.
Refine
The chosen concept is developed in exacting detail—material samples, mock-ups, engineering coordination, and cost planning ensure nothing is left to chance.
Realize
We remain deeply involved through construction, visiting sites weekly, reviewing every material delivery, and making real-time design decisions that keep the built outcome true to the vision.
